Coast Kamloops Hotel & Conference Centre


The inaugural KEG Conference took place 37 years ago led by a small group of dedicated individuals who were passionate about providing a platform to discuss industry-specific topics and create positive networking opportunities. Today, the KEG Conference has grown to include numerous individuals and businesses and continues to provide an informative and networking-based platform connecting prospectors, geologists, suppliers, manufacturers, and investors alike.

DELEGATE REGISTRATION PROCESS APRIL 3 to APRIL 15, 2026

Please note that all registrations must be processed by the purchaser through our online portal prior to and during our event. To ensure personal information is kept secure, staff cannot process credit cards through on-site volunteer/staff computer systems; however, can assist purchasers onsite if needed, as they navigate the registration portal via their personal cell phone or tablet. The Registration Desk will not have access to a debit machine. Should an attendee need to pay in cash, exact change will be needed to provide on-site staff. Please note all fees will be charged GST on top of fee amount noted online.

DELEGATE CHECK-IN PROCEDURES APRIL 13-15, 2026

Registered Delegates are asked to please check in at the Registration Desk that is located on the main Conference Centre Floor (just inside the East parking lot doors). Please follow signage to form a line to the noted side of the Registration Desk for check-in. Delegates will be asked to present a form of legal photo identification to staff/volunteers to verify identity.

Please note – badges for additional company members/friends etc will not be handed out in bulk. Each individual must check in on their own to ensure badges are provided to the correct individual.

Trade Show ONLY Public Viewing Pass - By Donation (suggested $5/person)
The Trade Show is open to members of the public to attend. Passes may be pre-purchased online through our event registration portal for $5/each from April 14, 2026 onwards, and 100% of funds collected will be placed towards our Children's Community Outreach Program over the course of the year. Alternatively, cash will be accepted at the door at the Registration Table. Suggested donation $5/person. Please note card transactions cannot be accepted unless paying online through our portal. Public Passes will grant access to the Trade Show portion of the event. For those wishing to take in Technical Talks, a Delegate Pass must be purchased.

Notes:
Delegate Ice Breaker (Monday, February 13, 2025 from 7pm to 9pm at Table Twelvefifty - restaurant within Coast Hotel). Join fellow KEG Delegates at this pre-conference networking social within Romeo's Kitchen + Spirits. Enjoy light appetizers and one complimentary drink per Full Delegate Pass. All Full Delegate Passes include 1x complimentary Ice Breaker Drink Ticket within package. Please pick up your name badge package at the Registration Desk PRIOR to attending event. The Registration desk is located downstairs within the Conference Centre by East entrance doors.

Lunches are NOT offered/included at this event, only coffee breaks. 5% gst will be added to all prices listed.

Please note that the annual Delegate Hockey Game and Short Course will not be part of the KEG 2026 program.

Exciting News! A trip is being added to the 2026 Event Schedule!


We are pleased to share that a full-day private tour of Nicola Mining Inc's Craigmont Mine, located approximately 45 minutes south of Kamloops, has been added to our 2026 event schedule.

Participants will enjoy round-trip shuttle transportation to and from the site, along with a guided experience that includes viewing drill core, a tour of the mill, and opportunities to see the pit and tailings area, along with additional site highlights.

Inclusions:
Round-trip shuttle transportation
Bagged lunch (sandwich, fruit, drink, cookie), water and light snacks will be available on the bus
Tour of site
Vis-vest/hard hat/safety glasses (provided for use on trip, or participants may bring their own)

Requirements:
CSA approved Steel-toed boots (participants must wear own)

Come gather among fellow geologists, prospectors, manufacturers, and more for an evening of recognition, food, and socialization. The evening will commence with a Welcome speech and then the awarding of two awards of recognition for outstanding service and contribution to the mineral industry – The Ron Wells Award and The Gold Pick Award.

A delicious buffet-style dinner will follow.

Apres dinner entertainment: Back by popular demand...Table vs Table trivia! Get ready for 3x rounds of trivia fun. Will your table be coming home with the bragging rights of winning this years challenge?

Cancellation Policy & Refunds:
Prior to and including March 6, 2026, any delegate directed cancellation will be assessed a $75 CAD administrative fee. Should the Kamloops Exploration Group be forced to cancel the event due to causes beyond its control, including but not limited to: global pandemic, terrorism, acts of war, acts of god or similar acts; fire; flood; earthquake; natural disaster, stock market disruptions; quarantine restrictions or travel advisories, all funds will be returned with the exception of a $75 CAD administrative fee.
