The highly anticipated lecture by Melanie Kelman titled, 'A Recently Discovered Fumarole Field at the Mount Meager Volcano in Southwest British Columbia,' was worth the wait. You may remember that Melanie was scheduled to speak in the 2017 series, but mother nature put a stop to that. We were thrilled that Melanie was able to come to Kamloops to not only give her lecture to a full house at TRU in the evening, but to also speak to one lucky grade five class at David Thompson Elementary School in the afternoon. Thank you Melanie, and we are excited to have you back in the future for another fascinating lecture.
