Dr Robert Young came to Kamloops for four days to educate so many of us. On Wednesday, April 14th, Rob spoke to three elementary classes, approx 75 students, about the ice age, complete with fossils, skulls, bones and casts. On Wednesday evening, he spoke to the KEG Executive with his fun lecture about lake monsters. We were back at it on Thursday morning with two more classes at the Kamloops Museum and Archives, approx 45 more students. On Thursday evening, he spoke to a full room with his evening lecture titled, 'Subglacial Megaflooding on the Alberta Plain, with Analogies to the Channeled Scablands.' A huge thank you to Dr Rob Young for all his time spent in Kamloops giving lecture after lecture. It is always a pleasure to host him.
