The KEG Open House took place on Thursday, February 4th at 630pm in the Ora Lounge at the Kamloops Towne Lodge (formerly the Best Western)!! This relaxed meet and greet was an informal cocktail party styled get together over drinks and food to network, get updated on KEG activities, and find out how you can get involved!!
The event was a big success and thank you to everyone who helped out and participated! For those of you who were unable to attend, we hope to see you at the next KEG social function!
KEG Christmas Curling Party
The much anticipated and long awaited Kamloops Exploration Group annual Christmas Curling Party was scheduled for Saturday, December 5th at 3:00 p.m at the Kamloops Curling Club.
It was a great success, with roughly 30 participants, tons of fun and great prizes!
Thanks to everyone who helped out in organizing and launching this great event, with special thanks to Jutta Jealouse and Wendy Ma.
The Kamloops Exploration Group hosts an annual Golf tournament in the fall. This year's event was held at Pineridge Golf Course on October 3, 2009. A total of 26 people came out and enjoyed an afternoon of golf followed by a steak dinner. With the generosity of several sponsors including Amex Exploration Services Ltd., Dave Piggin - Prospector, Eco Tech Laboratory/Alex Stewart Group, Foraco Drilling Ltd., G&T Metallurgical Services Ltd. and CME Consulting Ltd. there were more than enough prizes for golfers at every level.
