Since 1987, KEG has annually held one of B.C.’s highest quality and most inexpensive conferences. In addition to the two day technical conference highlighting exploration successes and issues, KEG also offers short courses and field trips that are frequently over subscribed.
Who should attend the 2010 conference? All prospectors, geologists, investors, students and mining companies. Conference: There will be two days of technical presentations, the Mining Investment and Trade Show, the AME lunch, the "Drillers Luncheon", a banquet dinner and refreshments.
Trade Show: As in previous years, a vibrant trade show will run April 6-7
Prospectors Booths: Booths will be available to display your rocks and maps (first-come, first-served basis). A $100 refundable deposit is required.
Speakers Program: Two full days of talks are planned for April 6-7. Sponsorship: If you are interested in sponsorship email registration@keg.bc.ca.
Hockey: Once again, the Wet Coasters are making their annual trek to the arid plains of Kamloops, to compete for the glory of winning the KEG Conference hockey game. This year the game will be played at the Ice Box Arena (http://www.iceboxarena.net) on Easter Monday, April 5th between 7 PM and 9 PM. The Interior team has their usual group of ringers, while the Coastal team, fueled by Olympic fervor and fresh Vancouver air, are apparently sharpening up their sticks in preparation for a tough match. If you are interested in playing for either team, please contact Murray Jones (Coast) at 604-688-9806 Ext. 108 or via email at MurrayJ@equityexploration.com, or Warren Newcomen (Interior) at 250-374-8600 Ext. 206 or by email at wnewcomen@bgcengineering.ca. Refreshments will be provided by Eagle Plains Resources, and door prizes by Equity Exploration Consultants and BGC! There will be a post game beer and bull session (loaction TBA).
Fieldtrip: The conference will be offering a field trip on April 8th.
Field Trip: Copper Mountain Mine Site near Princeton, B.C.
